On October 13 I will give a seminar at the Institute for Systems Theory and Automatic Control at the University of Stuttgart. My talk, Toward a Geometric Theory of Passivity, presents an extension of classical passivity in which dissipation is measured relative to geometric objects such as synchronization manifolds, formation manifolds, and limit cycles, rather than isolated points.
I always love going back to Stuttgart to visit. I spent part of my postdoctoral years at the institute, and it is a special pleasure to return, reconnect with friends and colleagues, and share our latest work.
More information is available on the University of Stuttgart seminar page.
